Data Retention & Deletion
Last updated September 14, 2026
CramLoop aims to retain personal and school-related information only for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain educational records requested by authorized users, protect account and platform security, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
Active accounts and school use
Account, profile, assessment, assignment, attempt, score, reporting, and study records may be retained while the related account, class relationship, assignment, or educational use remains active.
Deletion requests
Eligible account and student information may be deleted or de-identified when an authorized deletion request is approved, subject to information that must reasonably be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or other legitimate recordkeeping obligations.
School-directed requests
For school-managed student information, CramLoop may work through the applicable teacher, school, or district administrator so that access, correction, export, or deletion requests are handled consistently with the school’s authority and records obligations.
Backups and infrastructure copies
Deleted information may remain temporarily in provider backups, logs, or disaster-recovery systems until those copies age out under normal infrastructure lifecycle processes. Such copies are not intended to be restored for ordinary product use after an approved deletion.
Security and operational records
Limited technical or security records may be retained longer when necessary to investigate abuse, protect users, maintain system integrity, or comply with applicable obligations.
Policy maturity
As CramLoop expands district use, more specific retention schedules may be adopted for particular record categories or district agreements. When a signed school agreement sets a different required retention or deletion process, that agreement will govern the covered data.
